Where wild nature meets urban culture is the premise behind this great-looking duffle. Sounds like a great premise for traveling with your new weekender bag as well. It’s made of Treetap®, a rubber texturized fabric made from natural latex extracted from native rubber trees of the Amazon Rainforest. This natural, organic and live material is produced by Indians and rubber tappers into Treetap canvases through an exclusive technological process. The canvases are then shipped to Rio to be styled into handbags, backpacks and other accessories. Your purchase helps to ensure the preservation of traditional cultures and the conservation and biodiversity of the rainforest.
The duffle features two outside pockets with snap closures, an adjustable canvas shoulder strap, reinforced handles which snap together and a canvas bottom with metal feet. The exterior is lime green canvas and Treetap rubber.
Because the spirit of Treetap is wild, it is meant to be used not stored. The more you use it, the more beautiful the texture and gloss become. Due to its organic nature, the product reacts to climate variations and looks different according to the humidity of your environment. Some drops of the included silicone gel applied to the Treetap surface with a flannel cloth will give back its original color and gloss.
